SOURCE: KEY STUCK
A pair of pliers a piece of cloth and a good dose of WD40 Wrap the cloth around the key after sending a jet of WD40 into the lock opening grip the key with the pliers using the cloth to stop it getting damaged and gently push and pull on the key. If this does not free it rock the key from side to side and pull at the same time Failing that it is down to brute force and a trip to the dealer for a new lock

SOURCE: vent door stuck and can't remove glove box
why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.

SOURCE: The lower glove box on my 2009 Rav4 won't close.
I had the same problem with my 2009 RAV4 lower glove box. I removed the box by popping the top front right post and then the top left front post from theside housings by prying them free with my fingers. They pop out easily. I then let the box fall open and while holding it level to the floor, pulled forward, released the piston from the post on the right, and the glove compartment came out without tools. There was a plastic electrical box cover, which came loose behind the glove box, blocking it from closing. I snapped the cover plate back in place and then reversed the glove box removal process. It took a few minutes and I needed no tools.

SOURCE: My glove box handle broke off of my 2009 kia sportage. How can I open my glove box?
I would suggest you try a coat hanger there will be a latch that the handle hooked on to.
Try and find that latch and pull it or find the latch that opens and closes the glove box and try pull it to one side it, the problem is you need to work out what way the latch opens being to the left or to the right.

Most cabin air filters are located inside the dash. Only way to access this area is through the glove box. Open glove box, remove/open the tabs and the glove box cover will drop down to gain access. Be sure to remove all items from the box or they will just dump out on floor. Behind the glove box using a flashlight you will see the filter, remove, replacement is reverse of accessing.
Hope this helps!

I just did this on our 2007 Sonata. 1. open the glove box. On both sides of the glove box, there is a black tab which prevents the glove box from opening to far. The Chilton manual says to remove these, but that is more difficult then simply pressing inward on the sides of the glove box to release them from the channel. Now the glove box should open even more. Next, remove the piston arm from the right side of the glove box. You can do this by removing the panel on the side of the dash, but you first need to open the passenger door. You can also just use a screwdriver or other tool to slip the piston of without removing the dash side panel. Now with the glove box hanging fully open, you can see the cabin filter box. There are tabs on both sides of the front that you simply press together in order to slide the filter out of the box. This whole process from beginning to end should only take about 10 minutes and is very simple.
